Google AdWords Pay-Per-Click and Targeted Campaigns

You create your advertisement and choose your keywords, which are words or phrases related to your business. When users search on Google using your keywords, your ad will appear next to the search results depending upon how much you bid for each keyword or keyword pair. You either pay google when users click your ads or per 1000 impressions.

You set a daily budget and the maximum amount you are willing to pay for each click. Ads can be activated and deactivated easily, or set to run on a schedule.
