No, there are no shopping cart fees associated with your PayPal account. Will PayPal charge a fee when I purchase with my Pay Pal account? No, PayPal.com does not charge fees to the purchaser. Will I be charged a fee when I sell or collect donations with my Pay Pal account? Yes, as with any merchant account, PayPal.com charges the seller a per transaction fee and a percentage of the sale. What are the PayPal accounts transaction and discount fees for the US Dollar? • Up to $3,000 per month: 2.9% + $0.30 USD • $3,001 to $10,000 per month: 2.5% + $0.30 USD • $10,001 to $100,000 per month: 2.2% + $0.30 USD • More than $100,000 per month: 1.9% + $0.30 USD Remember, PayPal reserves the right to revise the fees. Are PayPal accounts required in order to make a purchase or donation? Not any more. It was this way before but PayPal.com changed the policy. You may make one non-recurring transaction without opening a PayPal account however, PayPal creates a temporary PayPal account with credit card number used. Must I use my credit card when I pay with my PayPal account? No. If you have a PayPal account, you may transfer money from your bank account to fund PayPal purchases. How do I retrieve money from my PayPal account? You have several options. • Transfer funds electronically to your online bank account: No Fee • Request a check from PayPal: $1.50 USD • Shop with a PayPal debit card: 1.5% cash back • Get cash out of an ATM with your PayPal debit card: $1.50 USD • Shop online with a PayPal virtual card: No Fee • Buy from over 30,000 PayPal Shops: No Fee • Pay your bills online with PayPal BillPay: No Fee How do I Sign Up for my PayPal Account? 1) Go to PayPal.com. 2) Click the "Sign Up" link. 3) Choose Personal Account, Premier Account or Business Account. 4) Select your country. 5) Click the "continue" button and follow the instructions. 6) Submit your registration information. 7) You will receive a verification email from PayPal with additional instructions. IMPORTANT – Please Note: Email from PayPal will always be addressed to the name on your paypal account. Email that looks like it is from PayPal, but is addressed to any other name or no name in particular IS SPAM! |
